New NBB campaign for cardholders

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has launched a new campaign titled ‘Your Summer Just Got Better!’ for its credit and prepaid cardholders.

The campaign aims to reward NBB cardholders on their local and international spends during the months of June, July and August, with points that are redeemable on the ‘Points by NBB’ mobile application.

As part of the campaign, three NBB credit and prepaid cardholders will each win BD1,000 worth of points, giving the customer the option to redeem the prize for cashback, raffle tickets, frequent flyer air miles, charity donations or exchange into other gifts and rewards on the app.

To qualify for the raffle, NBB cardholders will have to spend at least BD100 each month on their cards during the campaign period.

The names of the winners will be announced after the draw on September 19.

NBB will also reward double points to all cardholders using their credit and prepaid cards on all purchases while abroad, making their travels even more rewarding.

Reflecting on the campaign, NBB chief executive of retail banking Subah Al Zayani said; “We are delighted to launch our summer campaign, engaging our cardholders with rewards and exciting prizes that complement our credit and prepaid card offering. As part of our ongoing commitment to customer-centricity, the bank continues to develop a curated line-up of seasonal initiatives.”

Shadi Barakat, head of card business at NBB, said: “At NBB, we motivate our credit and prepaid cardholders to use their cards locally and internationally to enter the raffle draw and earn double points while travelling. We also encourage our customers to benefit from our points scheme and offers which include cashback, points raffle draws, frequent flyer air miles, charities, and much more just through their everyday spending.”
