New Gulf Air initiatives highlighted

Aiming at strengthening and building long-term relations with partners in its main markets, Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, held its annual Ramadan ghabga in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait City, where a number of travel and tourism agents in both countries were hosted.

Gulf Air chief executive Captain Waleed Al Alawi described it as a valuable annual opportunity to network with the airline’s travel and tourism agents in its popular GCC destinations where it started flying in the fifties and still sees strong passenger demand that translates to adding more daily frequencies in the future.

Captain Al Alawi also highlighted the adaptation of several ambitious initiatives aimed at digital transformation and the application of green principles that are environmentally friendly, briefing the audience on the airline’s expansion plans and the qualitative additions of Gulf Air’s beach destinations.

He said that these expansion plans came in line with the airline’s boutique strategy to offer passengers customised services and Gulf Air’s renowned Arabian hospitality.
