New era of development on the way

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad yesterday stressed Bahrain’s resolve to continue development and progress for a brighter future.

This came as he visited His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa at his palace in Riffa.

The King valued the pivotal role of the government – chaired by the Premier – in adopting visions and strategies to boost growth. 

He underscored the importance of the Government Forum as an innovative model to enhance governmental work, commending the Premier for supporting the initiative which ensured its success.

His Majesty valued the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

He said the development would have a positive impact on the quality of services provided to citizens, hailing the Premier’s vision and the Crown Prince’s support.

The Premier thanked the King for his visit, hailing his unwavering support to the government to play its role in furthering the march of national work.

“The royal support will always serve as a catalyst for more governmental achievements that support national development and enhance the standard of services,” he said, stressing his resolve to continue the work to achieve national goals. 

The King and the Premier also discussed a range of local issues.
