NBB’s growth plans in UAE discussed

A delegation from the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) discussed future plans and possible expansions for the bank within the UAE market with Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UAE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa.

This came during a visit by the delegation to the Dubai-based consulate of the kingdom, where the bank officials highlighted the key role played by the embassy and the consulate in furthering Bahrain’s goals to foster cross-sector trade relations within the UAE, in line with Vision 2030.

Welcoming the delegation, the ambassador praised NBB’s achievements and endeavours which have always actively contributed to the development of the banking sector and the kingdom’s economy in general at local and regional levels.

Shaikh Khalid also referred to the continuous support given by Bahrain’s Embassy in Abu Dhabi and Bahrain’s Consulate General in Dubai to assist NBB’s aspirations in achieving their future goals.

Headed by NBB UAE chief executive Yogesh Kale, the delegation included from Bahrain, the bank’s corporate communications head Hisham Abu Al Fateh, business marketing and partnerships manager Mohamed Alqassimi and corporate communications assistant manager Dana Abul. Also present during the meeting were Bahrain’s Consul General in Dubai Saud Al Nusuf and consulate adviser Tariq Ebrahim.

NBB said it is vested in expanding its presence across the region and to further growth across different locations to remain closer to its customers.

The bank endeavours to provide existing and new customers with easy access to services across the region.
