NBB silver sponsor of air show

THE National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced its silver sponsorship of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2022.

An agreement was been signed by NBB chief executive Jean-Christophe Durand and Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal Ahmed, in the presence of NBB corporate communications head Hisham Abu Al Fateh and BIAS 2022 director Yousef Mahmood.

The 10th edition of the air show is set to take place from November 9 to 11 at the Sakhir Air Base.

“The NBB’s participation in BIAS 2022 as a silver sponsor contributes to the greater success of the event,” said Mr Ahmed.

“We commend NBB for its support and positive contribution, which will work towards attracting local and international companies working in the aviation sector.

“International events such as the air show will place Bahrain on the global map and promote its standing across all economic, commercial and investment standards.”

Mr Durand said the sponsorship was part of the bank’s commitment towards national initiatives.

“This sponsorship is part of our commitment to support the kingdom’s initiative which serves to boost its regional and international status to new heights.

“We look forward to playing our role as a national enabler and to witnessing the broader success of this year’s show, the fastest growing airshow in the region.”
