NBB lends a helping hand...

THOUSANDS of relief baskets were donated by the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) to the Migrant Workers Protection Society (MWPS).

The 3,000 baskets were donated to the society’s Covid-19 Relief Fund aimed at providing relief supplies and food to low-income expatriate workers.

The packages will benefit 3,000 workers for one month and is in line with the bank’s efforts to support initiatives that aim to positively impact the community during these challenging times.

“As the nation’s bank and an integral member of the community, we consider it our responsibility to contribute towards all members and segments of the society,” said NBB chief executive Jean-Christophe Durand.

“Our partnership with MWPS has proved to be one that has been successful throughout these years and we have managed to directly impact specific segments in our community more effectively.”
