NBB launches new credit card dedicated to women

A new credit card has been launched by the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) catering to females in celebration of International Women’s Day.

AlGhalya, which means ‘the precious’ in Arabic, has been designed exclusively for women and applicants will benefit from discounted interest rates for a period of six months and exclusive offers with merchants and access to a variety of airport lounges around the world.

They will also be rewarded with 1,000 basis points along with 1,000 bonus points, which can be redeemed through the bank’s loyalty rewards platform ‘Points’. The bank will also reward the first 50 applicants with BD30, which will be automatically deposited into their card.

They will gain raffle eligibility for a chance to win valuable prizes, 200 bonus points on special celebration days for women and double points accumulated on targeted occasions during the year.

Applicants can also get a waiver on their loan processing and insurance premium fees.
