NBB contributes towards development of the Kingdom's youth

In line with its national responsibility and its ongoing efforts to enrich the lives of generations, the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has made contributions to INJAZ Bahrain and AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF).

This comes as part of the Bank’s commitment to supporting the development of the Kingdom’s youth, whereby NBB has contributed to INJAZ Bahrain, which aims to inspire and prepare young Bahrainis to succeed in a global economy and to MKF, a non-profit organisation which aims  to make a positive impact on the society in the field of education, and empower Bahraini youth to reach their optimal potential. Both entities have played major roles in empowering the youth and grooming future leaders.

Commenting on the contribution, Dana Buheji, Chief Human Resources Officer at NBB said, “Our contribution towards these entities have been driven by our inherent responsibility towards the community in which we operate, as well as our desire to contribute in a meaningful manner to the development of the Kingdom and its Economic Vision 2030. As ‘Employer of Choice’ we see the importance of preparing the Kingdom’s future leaders for the ever-growing demands of the work force and supporting them with attaining the necessary knowledge, tools and skillset to thrive, all of which we are confident that INJAZ and MKF provide, given their demonstrated history of supporting the youth who are embarking on their journey towards career development.”
