National budget gets vote of confidence

Bahrain's two-year state budget has been given a vote of confidence today.

Parliament's eight-member financial and economic affairs committee unanimously recommended approval to the 2021-2022 national budget.

The general-secretariat office in its meeting today headed by Parliament Speaker Fouzia Zainal has included it for next Tuesday's session.

Committee chairman Mahmood Al Bahrani said: “The government's budget will refresh everything in the country and give a breath of life to the private sector."
