Multi-billion projects announced at Cityscape Global in Riyadh
Riyadh, Sept. 10 (BNA): Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail inaugurated today the Cityscape Global Exhibition, held under the theme "Future of Living" at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Al-Hogail announced at the opening ceremony the launch of several projects, at a value exceeding SAR65 billion, emphasising that urban development in the Kingdom is rapid and contributes to achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 goals, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
He also said that "the coming years will see an expansion in residential suburbs throughout the Kingdom, in collaboration with global real estate developers, thus achieving progress in the development of the housing sector through a legislative environment that stimulates investment and various financing options".
Al-Hogail said that Cityscape is expected to see the launch of major projects and the signing of several agreements for promising partnerships.
The four-day exhibition will witness an exchange of ideas and expertise in architecture, design and city planning, based on international best practices and construction techniques.
The exhibition is an important event that showcases developments in the real estate sector and during which challenges will be discussed, at different sessions and in workshops, and conferences, summits and forums will be held, including Neom Future of Living Summit, Property Portfolio Forum, Design and Architecture Stage, Real Estate Institutional Investor Forum, PropTech Stage, Cityscape Innovation Challenge, and ROSHN Hackathon.
