Muharraq Social Welfare Centre, NBB Elderly Home affiliates vaccinated

Manama, May 18 (BNA): The Labour and Social Development Ministry, in cooperation with the Health Ministry, organised a visit to the Muharraq Social Welfare Centre, and vaccinated all the elderly from the centre and those from National Bank of Bahrain Elderly Home.

 

The move is part of the Labourr Ministry’s keenness to support the efforts of the National Medical Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (COVID-19).

 

Social Welfare Director at the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, Huda Mohammed Al-Hamood, expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the National Medical Taskforce and all Health Ministry’s frontline staff, praising the efforts of the mobile units at the Health Ministry to vaccinate the elderly, within the National Vaccination Campaign.

 

She highlighted the keenness of the government to provide health protection for the elderly among the citizens and ensure their health immunity, calling on everyone to play their role in protecting society from the pandemic.

 

Members of the National Medical Taskforce were reassured about the health conditions of the elderly after taking the vaccine against COVID-19, which confirms the great interest in the elderly.
