Motorcity unveils latest range of Peugeot models
THE latest models of Peugeot cars were showcased at an event organised by Motorcity at the Four Seasons Hotel, Bahrain Bay last night.
The range of Peugeot vehicles now available at Motorcity’s new showroom in Sitra include the all-new Peugeot 2008 SUV, Peugeot 5008 SUV, Peugeot 308 hatchback and Peugeot 508 fastback sedan – recently awarded ‘Public Car of the Year’ at the 2020 Middle East Car of the Year Awards.
Ebrahim K Kanoo chief operations officer Stefan Moench, French Embassy economic counsellor Olivier Biltz, and Groupe PSA GCC region managing director Rakesh Nair and other officials attended the launch.
The Peugeot’s 508 fastback sedan comes in three trim levels, including the entry-level “Active” line, the mid-trim “Allure” line and the all-new, top-of-the-range “GT” line.
Light commercial vehicles Partner, Boxer and Expert will also be available at the new home of the Peugeot brand.
Expected in early 2021, customers will also be treated to a fourth trim, the all-new Peugeot 508 GT, which features an eight-speed EAT8 automatic transmission, and 1.6-litre, PureTech turbo engine with an output of 217hp.
The showroom is open from 8am to 7pm, Saturday to Thursday.
