More than 500 delegates participated in Manama Dialogue

Approximately 500 delegates from 46 countries participated in the 18th IISS Regional Security Summit: Manama Dialogue.

IISS chief executive John Chipman also confirmed that the organisation had facilitated 62 bilateral meetings, and knew of several dozen more that took place on the sidelines of the summit.

Confirmed dates for the 19th Manama Dialogue were not revealed but Mr Chipman noted, in his concluding remarks, that it would take place in the third week of November 2023.

The 18th Manama Dialogue will end with a farewell lunch at 2.45pm, preceded by a fly past of the Red Arrows above the Masaya Pavilion at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain at 1.45pm.
