McLaren pays homage to rich weaving heritage

MANAMA: Paying homage to Bahrain’s rich and long-standing weaving heritage, McLaren Automotive is joining the ‘Weaving Innovation’ exhibition within the Bahrain pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The exhibition will be accessible to the visitors of the expo until January 30, 2022.

McLaren’s display is supported by Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund Mumtalakat, which owns a majority stake in the British creator of luxury, high-performance supercars.

The ‘Weaving Innovation’ exhibition features a number of independent platforms allowing attendees to learn more about the ancient craft as well as its influence on modern carbon fibre applications that enhance the safety and performance of McLaren’s supercars.
