Kuwait bans travel of unvaccinated citizens

Kuwait City: The country's Public Authority of Civil Aviation has announced a ban on the travel of unvaccinated citizens, which came into effect at the Kuwait International Airport on May 23.

Covid-19 vaccines approved by the country include Pfizer Bionic vaccine, AstraZeneca – Oxford vaccine, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.

Groups exempt from the ban are those who are not eligible to receive the vaccine, pregnant women, age groups not subject to vaccination, Kuwaiti students studying abroad and have been vaccinated as well as members of diplomatic missions.
