KPMG supports Bahraini youngsters to complete their professional qualifications

KPMG in Bahrain announced it has supported four young Bahrainis to complete their professional qualifications as part of its Jassim Fakhro Professional Development Fund programme.

The latest batch of programme beneficiaries comprises audit associates Ali Yusuf, Mooza Juma and Maher AlBimani and human resource assistant manager Hussain AlMosawi.

With the support of the fund, Mr Yusuf has completed his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualifications, while Ms Juma has become a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Mr AlBimani has passed the Uniform CPA Examination and Mr AlMosawi has completed the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification.

The fund was established in 2001 to honour KPMG in Bahrain co-founder Jassim Fakhro, with the ambition to support the professional development of young talented Bahrainis.

Till date, it has an alumni database of over 179 Bahrainis, who are considered brand ambassadors for KPMG in Bahrain; inspiring role models for young Bahrainis within the community; and empowered professionals within the marketplace.

Under the programme, KPMG provides financial support, coupled with coaching and mentoring from more experienced colleagues to help the talented youth to pursue and successfully complete the professional qualifications of their choice.
