King praises Team Bahrain

MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad has praised efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to serve the nation in all fields.

He also highlighted the dedicated work by Team Bahrain, under HRH Prince Salman’s leadership, to combat the coronavirus from which the entire world is suffering.

His Majesty expressed appreciation for all Bahrainis for their contributions to the nation’s development as he received the Crown Prince and Prime Minister at Safriya Palace yesterday.

They reviewed a number of local issues aimed at enhancing Bahrain’s progress.

The King praised the depth of solid relations among the GCC countries and their citizens in all fields.

He said that the AlUla Declaration had affirmed the member states’ commitment to the goals stipulated in the GCC Charter, through strengthening integration and co-operation among them.

The King added that the declaration also highlighted the aspirations of the GCC countries’ citizens for reinstating joint action to consolidate unity among member states and safeguard stability.

His Majesty stressed that the media discourse, through all outlets, including social media networks, should adhere to social values, and the all-inclusive noble GCC traditions that strengthen unity, cohesion and common destiny among all GCC states, as well as establish trust and respect among all members of the same society, and keep away from anything that may hinder the achievement of common goals.

The King highlighted the all-inclusive fundamentals of joint action that consolidate GCC cohesion, deepen the solid bonds that maintain the gains of the GCC march and enhance unity to build a promising future.
