Innovative solutions ‘vital for growth’
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has highlighted the importance of adopting innovative solutions across government services.
He noted the importance of the launch of Bahrain’s ePassport in advancing the quality of services for citizens as he received Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and Under-Secretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.
The ePassports project is a new initiative that uses advanced technologies to facilitate ease of travel and transit at airports.
HRH Prince Salman commended the efforts of all who have contributed to its success.
He stressed the kingdom’s ongoing commitment to digital transformation, a key element in improving the overall development, productivity, quality, and optimisation of citizen-led services.
The Interior Minister expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and highlighted his commitment to advancing the quality of services provided to the kingdom’s citizens.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
