iGA launches mobile app for legal e-services

A new mobile application called ‘Bahrain Legislators’ that facilitates access to legal e-services and thousands of legal tools has been launched by the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) and the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission.

Commission chairman Nawaf Hamza said the app allows users to view the Constitution of Bahrain and the National Action Charter in both English and Arabic.

“Bahrain Legislators App is a legal e-channel that facilitates access to a list of legal e-services such as searching and reviewing legislation and decisions issued within Bahrain,” he added.

Convenience

“This is in addition to treaties and agreements, legal principles issued by the commission and other services that are of interest to concerned stakeholders.

“The application provides a convenient channel for e-services provided by the commission on its website and the launch reflects a keenness to reinforce legal services provided to the public by making them available through a user-friendly mobile app.

“It offers an advanced search facility to view 18,081 legal tools issued in Bahrain.”
