Housing Ministry to distribute 2000 housing units in February

In line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to provide 40,000 housing units, and in implementation of the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to distribute 2,000 units to the citizens next February, The Ministry of Housing has made all the necessary preparations to distribute the housing units across the kingdom according to a schedule to continue the distribution next February.

 

On the occasion, Housing Minister, Eng Bassim bin Yaqoob Al Hamer, extended sincere thanks and gratitude to HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister on the occasion of the issuance of an order by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to distribute 2000 additional housing units on the beneficiaries. He said the orders to distribute the housing units reflect the royal care accorded to the social housing sector in the kingdom and the priority given to it by the Cabinet chaired by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He noted that the order to distribute 2000 additional housing units adds to the series of housing accomplishments brought about under the comprehensive development march led by HM the King.

 

The minister noted that the distribution of the housing units is in concordance with the government’s commitment to provide 25,000 housing units as part of its programme to meet Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and achieve citizens’ aspirations. He affirmed the ministry’s resolve to continue dedicating all its capabilities  to carry out the distribution as scheduled and streamline procedures for the beneficiaries.
