Hospitals strategy reviewed

Development projects as well as ways to improve the quality of healthcare provided to patients at Bahrain’s government hospitals have been reviewed at a key meeting.

The board of trustees of government hospitals convened remotely, chaired by Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, yesterday.

The virtual session was attended also by board members, government hospitals chief executive Dr Ahmed Al Ansari and other executive members.

The session focused on latest developments, particularly edicts issued by the Supreme Council for Health president Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa regarding financial regulation for government health institutions and personnel affairs in government health institutions.

Shaikh Hisham praised medical, nursing, technical and administrative staff for their efforts to develop health policies.
