HM the King’s support to the health sector praised

Manama, May 3 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al Saleh valued the great interest that the Government attaches to preserving the safety of citizens and residents.

 

She extended deepest thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for their keenness on supporting the health sector since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

 

She praised the “Feenah Khair” campaign, which was launched a year ago, hailing the initiative to set up a laboratory and a research centre for   infectious diseases and epidemiology.

 

She commended the efforts exerted by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) Board of Trustees’ Chairman, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

 

 “The specialised epidemiology and research center will complement the success Team Bahrain in combating the pandemic, under the leadership of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister”, she said.  

 

 She stressed the ministry’s resolve to continue delivering high-quality medical care to patients  at the health facilities, in line with international health protocols.
