HM King's address roadmap for deeper national unity, greater development progress
Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): Ministers, members of the Shura and Representatives councils, and senior officials have praised the address of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the opening of the first session of the sixth legislative term.
HM King Hamad inaugurated the session in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, members of the Parliament, diplomats and senior officials.
They said that the address represents guidelines for action, closer cooperation between the legislative and executive branches and the progress of democracy practices.
The royal directives are a roadmap for continuing the comprehensive development process and the government's achievements and development projects within the economic recovery plans and financial balance programs in partnership with the private sector, they said.
The address also represents a robust plan to achieve economic growth and move steadily and determinedly towards advanced economic progress.
They praised HM the King's pride in the achievements of Bahraini women and appreciation of their influential contributions to the national development.
They added that the royal address was a great motivation for women for stronger commitment and further contributions to serving the nation with greater enthusiasm and deeper dedication.
The address launches a new era with highly significant priorities to be achieved through closer dialogues between the parliament and the government to coordinate positions and stances, fulfill the aspirations of the people, protect national interests, strengthen national unity and consolidate the Bahraini identity, they said.
