The payment will be for three months, from October to December 2020.

The latest move follows government paying full salaries of citizens working in the private sector for April, May and June, and 50% salaries of citizens working in pandemic hurt organizations for July, August and September.

The decision is as per a decree-law No. 30 to a while a new clause it added by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Salaries will be paid by Social Insurance Organisation (SIO) from Bahrain's unemployment fund, given those eligible are from companies and organisations that have stopped working fully or partially, and are unable to pay wages to workers.
