Health Undersecretary urges full compliance with precautionary measures amid spike

Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Waleed Al Manea urged full compliance with all mandatory precautionary measures for combating COVID-19.

 

He affirmed that the spike in the number of cases is caused by negligence within the community.

 

Dr. Al Manea stressed the need to abide by the health protocols and mandatory precautionary measures set by the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19.

 

He affirmed the importance of taking into account the national efforts made by the healthcare workers in the front lines to combat the virus, who are exerting their utmost efforts to preserve the health and safety of all community members.

 

The undersecretary noted that the strategies Bahrain follows to combat this pandemic have been internationally praised, especially since the government has provided various means to combat COVID-19 and protect citizens and residents.

 

Dr. Al Manea noted that it is everyone’s responsibility to follow rigorously all health guidelines to ensure the safety of the community, noting that individuals experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should use the hotline (444) and follow the guidelines provided.
