Health Undersecretary praises community interaction with national vaccination campaign

Manama, Dec. 21 (BNA): Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Waleed Al Manea said that Bahrain is one of the first countries to provide COVID-19 vaccination.

He affirmed that this reflects the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to protect society and reach the best ways to prevent the virus.

Dr. Al Manea indicated that since Bahrain began last Wednesday the national vaccination campaign, the vaccination centers have witnessed a remarkable turnout from all segments of society to take it.

The undersecretary explained that there is a daily steady increase in the numbers registered to take appointments to receive the anti-virus vaccination.

He pointed out that the continued turnout reflects the conscious society’s concern for its health, highlighting the extent of community interaction with the national campaign and its importance, calling for continued positive interaction to enhance the health efforts made to preserve the safety of everyone.
