Health Ministry urges full commitment to reduce infections

Manama, May 30 (BNA): Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Walid Khalifa Al Manea urged full compliance with mandatory precautionary measures which were announced by the National Medical Taskforce for Combating COVID-19 to curb infectious and protect public safety.

 

Dr. Al Manea, also member of the National Medical Taskforce for Combating COVID-19, called for adherence to the health protocols during the coming two weeks.

 

“Overcoming the current health conditions will require all segments of society to show utmost determination and commitment”, he said, looking forward to curbing infections and emulating the success which was achieved in October 2020.

 

“Health indicators have shown that commitment in the period between 17 September 2020 and 14 October 2020 contributed to reducing the incidence of daily existing cases by 45%”, he said.
