Green co-operation discussed

Oil and Environment Minister and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Dr Mohammed Bin Daina received Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) deputy director general and head of the green growth planning and implementation division Helena McLeod.

The minister discussed ways to enhance co-operation in green growth fields, and adaptation to the effects of climate change.

Dr Bin Daina praised the level of the ongoing partnership between the kingdom and GGGI regarding environmental matters.

He affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen its co-operation with international organisations and institutes to achieve sustainable development goals.

The delegation was briefed on Bahrain’s projects to adapt to the effects of climate change.
