Government’s support praised

MANAMA: The government’s policy of supporting entrepreneurship and enabling owners of small and medium enterprises to contribute significantly to the national economy plays a major role in stimulating growth, said Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society (BBS) chairperson Ahlam Janahi.

She was speaking during a workshop on ‘Women in Technology – Thee Ecological System of Entrepreneurship’ at the sixth Manama Entrepreneurship Week (MEW).

Held under the patronage of Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, MEW 2020 attracted 5,000 participants.

Held virtually, in strategic partnership with Ahli United Bank, the event features 40 workshops and seminars presented by 72 entrepreneurship experts and specials from countries all over the world.
