French shares edge up 0.15 pct

PARIS, July 26 (Xinhua) -- French shares edged up on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 0.15 percent, or 9.78 points, to close at 6,578.60 points.

Of the 40 selected large companies, 20 gained in the day.

International steel producer ArcelorMittal SA advanced 4.38 percent. European commercial real estate company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE added 2.69 percent. Global energy giant Total rose 2.32 percent.

French tire manufacturer Michelin lost 1.99 percent. French omnichannel company Teleperformance shed 1.08 percent. Multinational rolling stock manufacturer Alstom SA went down by 1.05 percent.
