Forum focus on future of human jobs versus robots

MANAMA: Future of human jobs versus robots was a key theme of discussion at the third AI virtual conference in Bahrain.

More than 500 people from the kingdom and GCC attended the event held under the patronage of Shura Council chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh.

Branded ‘BotTalk’, the series is organised by Artificial Intelligence Society in partnership with Dubai-based GEC Media Group.

Speakers also discussed the role of AI in accelerating food transformation during the pandemic, AI for material resources management and AI for cyber threats in a remote work environment.

Dr Jassim Haji, chairman of the AI Virtual Conference and Artificial Intelligence Society said, “We are honoured to hold our AI conference under the patronage of Mr Al Saleh, who has been inspirational to the success and development of AI in the kingdom. We are also grateful to Shaikh Ali bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, deputy CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic and chairman of Khalid bin Hamad competition for innovation in Artificial Intelligence.”
