Fives Services Gulf opens workshop

Fives Services Gulf inaugurated its workshop dedicated to the fabrication of Crust Alumina Feeding Devices (CAFD) for Alba and celebrated the renewal of the Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) for Alba Line 6 Pot Tending Machine.

The event included a tour of the Fives’ workshop, giving an overview of its production activities.

A highlight of the visit was the inauguration of the CAFD (Crust Alumina Feeding Device) workshop in the presence of all employees, with an official ribbon cutting.

Present were Alba chief executive Ali Al Baqali, COO Dr Abdulla Habib, reduction lines and services director Fuad A Hussain, reduction maintenance and services manager Haitham Al Saegh, reduction line 5 senior manager Mohsen Shukrallah, reduction line 6 senior manager Khalil Ebrahim and line 7 expansion project director Robert Byrne.

On the occasion, Fives Services Gulf chief executive Frédéric Gicquel thanked Alba for renewing the LTSA for an additional five years. This renewal demonstrates the customer satisfaction and trust in Fives Services Gulf’s ability to support Alba production goals, he said.
