Five upcoming EV charging stations in Bahrain to recharge cars in 15 minutes
Five fast electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are to be installed across Bahrain.
The facilities will be able to recharge EV cars within 15 minutes at most, said Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Yasser Humaidan.
He stressed the ministry’s commitment to adopt policies aimed at encouraging the use of electric vehicles.
During a meeting with Bahrain Car Dealers’ Society chairman and board members, he stressed the importance of encouraging the use of EV cars, as part of Bahrain’s plans to develop renewable energy products.
He stressed the need to strengthen partnerships with the private sector and civil society institutions in this regard.
