First pharmaceutical services centre in Bahrain licensed
THE first pharmaceutical services centre in the country, established by 100 per cent Bahraini investment, has been licensed.
The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) announced yesterday that Inpharmall Company will positively impact patients’ health and availability of medicines in Bahrain.
“The NHRA believes in the private sector role in attracting more foreign investment to the health sector in general, and the pharmaceutical industry in particular,” said a statement.
“Through the current Covid-19 global health crisis, the importance of the pharmaceutical sector and its role in communities’ security became even clearer.
“The new centre will provide the international pharmaceutical manufacturers and local importers with the needed technical consultation, and issue different validation certificates for the documents and scientific data submitted to NHRA, which will accelerate the assessment and approval/licensing procedures.
“This will definitely serve the pharmaceutical sector in a way that will positively impact the patient health and medicines availability in Bahrain.”
