Firms urged to complete Tamkeen applications

MANAMA: The small and micro enterprises who have begun their Business Continuity Support Programme without completing the rest of their application form can still complete it within three days.

Labour Fund ‘Tamkeen’ chief executive Dr Ebrahim Janahi said that the enterprises can complete their application from between Sunday and Tuesday.

The decision is part of Tamkeen’s efforts to support enterprises by ensuring that small and micro enterprises benefit from this programme.

Dr Janahi said that all applicants who have saved their forms will be able to resume their application automatically when logging into Tamkeen’s portal.

Dr Janahi urged all enterprises to complete their applications and attach the required documents to receive their financial grant which will help them cover their operational expenses partially.

Dr Janahi said the Business Continuity Support Programme is part of the economic stimulus package announced by the government, and Tamkeen redirected all of its programmes towards supporting the private sector, particularly the small and micro enterprises, in the current situation.
