Expo centre is nominated for travel award

Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) has been nominated for the Middle East’s Leading Exhibition and Convention Centre 2023 award by the annual World Travel Awards.

Recognised globally as the hallmark of industry excellence, the awards are one of the most prestigious in the travel and tourism industry.

Having only been in operation since November 22 last year, this nomination is a clear recognition of the impact EWB’s recent opening has had on the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry at the international level, the prestigious expo centre said yesterday.

Since opening and in the span of six months, EWB received approximately 340,000 visitors over 23 events, 13 of which were international. The venue has also recently entered a collaboration with Al Dana Amphitheatre, to host Al Dana’s new Summer Season of live events and concerts.
