About the Cziffra Duo
The four-handed duo Guilmault-Dubois, formed by two pianists Ludmilla Guilmault & Jean-Noël Dubois, was formed in 2007 during an impromptu meeting between the two artists. The osmosis of the Duo is such that they decide to play together! Nicknamed the Explosive Duo because of their ardor and their pianistic virtuosity. György Cziffra was their mentor and in 2015, when they decided to perform together, the name of Cziffra appeared to them as an evidence to baptize their duo. The playing of the two performers with their strong and explosive temperament is in direct resonance with music of strong folkloric inspiration. Chopin, Liszt. In a great complementarity, the Duo is unleashed to share with the public its passion for this music of character.
