Digital Transformation Seminar co-organized with BNP Paribas

FCCIB and BNP Paribas co-organized a conference about Digital Transformation on Monday, 3rd April 2017. The seminar took place at Downtown Rotana Hotel in Manama, and was followed with a networking dining reception.

Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB, opened the conference thanking all the guests and FCCIB members for attending. Then, Mr. Jacques Michel, Head of Middle East & Africa at BNP Paribas presented the program of the seminar and gave a speech on the impact of digitalization on our life and society.

The Guest speaker of the seminar was Mrs. Inma Martinez, considered one of the world’s leading digital media strategists. She did an amazing presentation on: ‘the Future of Digitalization affecting life, work and play’. She talked about the necessity of companies to adapt to digitalization and to take the requested transformations to innovate their products and adapt to new technologies, trends, and shifts in consumer expectations.

After this conference, a panel discussion was moderated by Tracy Elwick, Head of Communications in BNP Paribas, Middle East & Africa.

The panelist were: Mr. Ayman Ajaj, Chief Information Officer in BNP Paribas MEA; Mr. Philippe Denis, Chief Digital Officer in BNP Paribas Securities Services in Lead, Blockchain Lab, CIB; Mr. Edouard d’Archimbaud, Data Scientist at Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Lab in BNP Paribas CIB; Mr. Mathieu Garnier, Fintech & Research Lead in BNP Paribas CIB and Mr. Reda Hadjouti, Chief Information Security Officer in BNP Paribas CIB MEA.

The seminar attended by more than 70 participants was followed by a networking dining reception.
