Covid-19 traffic light system to be suspended from today

THE TRAFFIC light mechanism to monitor the level of Covid-19 spread in the country will be suspended from today (Mar 28). 

The National Taskforce to Combat Covid-19 announced that it would reactivate the mechanism whenever the need arises.

Wearing a facemask would remain an option indoors and outdoors, the taskforce said, adding that it would, however, be advisable to use masks when visiting the elderly or those with chronic diseases. 

Workers at health facilities are required to wear facemasks, it added.
