Container traffic up 6.3% in Saudi ports in May
The total tonnage of cargo handled by Saudi ports during May 2020 amounted to over 28 million tons.
The number of containers handled reached 613,000, an increase of 6.36% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, according to the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani), said a Saudi Press Agency report.
The number of vessels in the Saudi ports during May was 919, it said.
