Conference & Networking Dinner with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Capital Club Bahrain
A very successful networking dinner yesterday evening with Amazon Web Services in Capital Club Bahrain, in the sidelines of the AWS Summit - Bahrain and Bahrain Tech Week.
More than 70 attendees enjoyed the insightful conference delivered by Mr. Max Peterson, VP International Sales, Worldwide Public Sector, and Mrs. Soo Lee, Director, WWPS Financial services, at Amazon Web Services, on the topic “Beyond the clouds: the opportunities unlocked through digital information”. The event was sponsored by Roland Berger and EK Kanoo.
A very dynamic Q&A session followed the conference, during which a number of subjects were debated mainly the impact of the AWS first ever regional Data Centre opening in Bahrain in 2019, the different opportunities available to businesses in the region, the different solutions offered by Amazon and practical guidance to benefit from the cloud.
The meeting was attended by HE Mrs. Cécile Longé, Ambassador of France to Bahrain, Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand, President of FCCIB, the Board and Members of Bahrain Businesswomen Society as well as many other VIPs, members and guests.
