CMA CGM Donates 50 000 Masks to Lebanon

CMA CGM Group has made a donation of 50 000 FFP2 type masks, worth USD 250 000 and currently out of stock in Lebanon, in order to overcome the Covid-19 epidemic. These masks were delivered on April 3rd to Rafic Hariri Governmental Hospital, Hôtel de Dieu de France, Lebanese Red Cross and to the Lebanese Army who will handle their redistribution to other hospitals. With the support of its affiliate CEVA Logistics, the Group ensured the delivery of Covid-19 kit tests destined for the Lebanese government, on board of the same flight specially chartered from China.

Through this donation and logistical support, the Group stands with Lebanon to fight this unprecedented sanitary crisis, and reiterates more than ever its commitment and solidarity to all Lebanese during this difficult period. CMA CGM Group, a leader in shipping and logistics, has taken all necessary measures to protect its collaborators worldwide, including in Lebanon where the teams continue to provide daily support to ensure the transport and logistics supply chain of essential goods all across the Lebanese territory.
