CBB 12-month Treasury Bills Issue No.75 oversubscribed by 159%

Manama, Nov. 24 (BNA): This month’s BD 100 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 159%, the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) said.

 

The bills, carrying a maturity of 12 months, are issued by the CBB, on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

 

The issue date of the bills is November 26, 2020 and the maturity date is November 25, 2021.

 

The weighted average rate of interest is 2.81% equivalent to the previous issue on October 22, 2020, the CBB said.

 

The approximate average price for the issue was 97.238% with the lowest accepted price being 97.218%.

 

This is issue No.75 (ISIN BH00090570B1) of Government Treasury Bills. With this, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills is BD 2.110 billion.
