Businesses asked to register for three-month wages of Bahraini staff

Employers in the private sector have been asked to register to receive the three-month wage payment for their Bahraini employees.

Registration has started from today through

Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan said the payments were expected to reach BD215 million for April, May and June, with an average BD70m each month.

The move is part of eight initiatives under a BD4.3 billion financial stimulus package spearheaded by the government to offset the impact of Covid-19.
