BD4.3m power station opens
A new BD4.3 million power station has been inaugurated in Sadad.
The 66kv terminal will meet the electricity needs of the Northern Governorate, particularly villages in the Western region.
It was opened by Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Wael Al Mubarak.
Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) chief executive Shaikh Nawaf bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, MPs and municipal councillors took part.
The power station will bolster Bahrain’s electrical grid security.
