BD16m procurement requests reviewed
Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): Procurement requests by government entities valued at approximately BD16 million were discussed at the 57th Information and Communication Technology Governance Committee (ICTGC) meeting.
The committee covered topics including a project to improve water consumption measurement methods at the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) which aims to improve the exchange of information between different system.
ICTGC reviewed enhancing communications at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy through cloud computing technologies, which will reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.
It also reviewed the development of eServices for medicine licenses at the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), in line with a plan to digitize all medical services and streamline them for health centers also projects and procurement requests related to improving IT services at several government entities.
In addition, the committee reviewed implemented decisions from previous meetings.
