BCCI donates more than BD1 million to support efforts to combat Covid-19
More than BD1 million has been donated by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of an initiative launched to support national efforts to combat the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19).
BCCI chairman Sameer Nass today announced that a total of BD1.2m was donated by the chamber in addition to BD300,000 on Monday raising the total to BD1.5m in support of the ‘There is Good in Us’ campaign.
The campaign was launched by His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Adviser and Royal Humanitarian Foundation board of trustees chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
It follows directives by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
