BCCI Chairman: Saudi Arabia is Bahrain's major investment, trade partner
Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Sameer bin Abdulla Nass, has affirmed the Bahraini private sector’s keenness to strengthen its economic and investment relations with sisterly Saudi Arabia, the kingdom’s major investment and commercial partner.
He stressed the depth and solidity of the distinguished Bahraini-Saudi economic and investment relations, which are growing steadily thanks to the interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, praising the role played by Saudi Arabia to enhance the progress and prosperity of the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
Nass was speaking while receiving here today the Bahraini Ambassador-Designate to Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.
He congratulated the ambassador on the precious royal trust bestowed upon him by appointing him to his post, wishing him every success in carrying out his diplomatic duties, hailing the solidity of the long-standing fraternal Bahraini-Saudi relations, which are progressing steadily across various fields.
BCCI chief reviewed ways to further increase the volume of bilateral trade, including exchanging trade visits and holding bilateral meetings to remove obstacles and highlights, in addition to organising joint economic events to highlight available investment opportunities in the two kingdoms.
The ambassador-designate to Saudi Arabia expressed pride in HM the King’s precious trust, affirming his keenness to open up wider horizons of bilateral cooperation, and strengthen the commercial and economic relations between the two countries.
He also commended the efforts being made by BCCI to enhance the kingdom’s economic cooperation with brotherly countries.
