BCCI achievements highlighted

MANAMA: The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) annual general assembly has endorsed the financial report for 2020 and the report of the external auditor.

Chairman Sameer Nass presided over the meeting held virtually.

Hailing His Majesty King Hamad on his support to the chamber and empowering it to lead the development march of the industrial and commercial sectors in Bahrain, Mr Nass also praised the recent directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister, on forming a taskforce to follow up the recommendations made by the chamber’s committees in their recent conference.

The chairman touched upon the achievements made during the term of the 29th board of directors, and attributed the achievements to the support of the leadership, the engagement of the members of the chamber, and the diligent hard work of the chamber’s administrative and executive body.

Mr Nass also expressed confidence in Bahrain’s ability to overcome repercussions of the pandemic.
