Bapco wins RoSPA Gold Medal Award

Bapco has won the Gold Medal Award of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The company’s acting deputy chief executive technical and Bapco Modernisation Programme project director Hafedh Al Qassab received the award on behalf of Bapco at a ceremony held in Dubai.

Commenting on the achievement, Bapco chief executive Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery expressed his extreme pride in obtaining such a prestigious award, which was presented to Bapco a result of its excellence in safety and occupational health.

RoSPA is a recognised international organisation for lifesaving and for the prevention of accidents.

RoSPA had selected Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery as an Ambassador for its Awards upon the creation of this position in recognition of him being one of the most successful and distinguished personalities.

The purpose is to enhance RoSPA’s ties with its member companies and establishments.

More than 2,000 companies compete among themselves to win the tremendous awards given by RoSPA, of which safety and health awards are the best prizes in both the UK and the World.
